At Put Them First, we are committed to making positive changes in the current care system. We invite you to learn more about Put Them First, our mission, and to learn more about the initiatives we have planned to raise awareness and make a real impact in the foster care system.
We are absolutely delighted that Professor Karen Thorpe has agreed to take time out of her schedule to join us to share some thoughts about early childhood development.
Karen is Deputy Director and Group Leader in Early Development, Education and Care at the Institute for Social Science Research. Her research examines the effects of children’s early life experiences on social, learning and health trajectories across the lifespan. Her particular interest is early childcare and education environments including parent work, quality of care and education, and the early years workforce.
We will also be hosting a guest panel discussion, once again talking about early childhood. This will be a great opportunity to ask questions and have robust discussions around this topic.
We look forward to seeing you on December 4th from 6.30 pm when we kick off with drinks and nibbles.
